New beginnings...

I guess after last nights cards it is appropriate to share a new baby card with you tonight!  (especially as while routing through Deb's stash last week we found my baby stamps!)


I have used the Friday Sketchers sketch (which I've already entered, but liked it so much I wanted to try it in different colours!) as a starting point and gone from there...

The papers some ages old double sided ones by Heidi Grace are some that I found in my paper box and the stamp is Baby's Bath by Stampendous which I have coloured with copics.  He's so cute, I just love his little feet poking out of the bottom of the towel!! I've accented the water drops on his head and feet and his duck with glossy accents. 


The border stamp is by Studio G and has been stamped using Vintage Photo and faded Jeans distress inks - I just love the way these go all smudgy when you stamp with them as it's not too harsh.  I know that's not what they are made for really, but I like it!!

I'd like to enter this for the following challenges:

Cards for Men - Challenge 15 (recipe - 1 image, 2 papers, 3 embellishments - hope this counts as the papers were double sided!)
My Time to Craft Challenge 100  (checks - the long strip of paper is checked)

I'm gonna have to get creative tomorrow - my E00 is on it's last legs and needs reinking (but I don't have a re-inker... yet...) so going to have to be no-people cards until I can get a re-inker delivered!  Bother... I was going to order Kenny K images and play with them this weekend too!!
