Hi! Hope you are having a great weekend - mine started earlier than I hoped with the council (finally) repairing the potholes in the road outside our house at some unearthly hour for a Saturday. Still I'm glad they are getting round to filling them in.
Eventually I got going on making a card or two, in between dealing with the kids who have been driving me nuts all day!
First up I'll share this one:
I just love the colours of the Bo Bunny (Orange Double Dot Cardstock and Petal Pushers Paper - Dot) and Echo Park (Sweet Summertime - Sunny Spots) papers. Actually I made a bit of a mistake here as I had thought I was using papers from the same range, but think the colours go together OK, so I got away with it! I've used both the front and the reverse of the Sunny Spots Paper. The design is based on the Friday Sketchers Sketch
The image is from the By The Sea set by Woodware and I have stamped her three times and layered up her hat, ribbon, bikini bottoms and the sand in the bucket. She's coloured with copics, and I've added glossy accents to the dots of her cossie
The flowers have been made using EK Success, Tesco and Woodware flower punches with a yellow gem in the centre of each. The sentiment has been created with rub ons from American Crafts, and a ribbon gives it a bit of a tag look
I've gone round the edge of the white cardstock and made hundreds of holes with my pricky tool. Halfway through I realised I should have used the sewing machine with no thread, but had to carry on even though my hands were killing me! Hey it's Saturday, my brain is only half switched on!
I'd like to enter this card for these challenges (loads of 'em!):
