Good Morning, and welcome to this weeks Totally Ladybug Tuesday!!
This week it was the turn of the lovely Hayley to set the challenge... well I say the lovely Hayley but I think this one had some of the DT in a bit of a fluster!! (Me included!!) Hayley asked up to use a cat or dog image, but then to do a shabby chic/vintage style
All I'm going to say is that normally I am a complete distressophobe, and I like my straight lines!! I can't help it, it's how I am!! However, last week I had an awful week at work which worked to my advantage as the papers took the full force of my frustration!! :-D.
Right enough of my blah blah blah, here's my card...
As you can see all the edges took a battering... at one point I feared for the safety of my beloved Tim Holtz scissors, but they stood up to the task magnificently. I adore these MME Lost and Found papers and I knew I was going to use them for this card as soon as I saw them. How I didn't know, so bought 2 of each in the range, just to make sure :-)
Here's a close up of the rather cute Cross-Eyed Buttercup - I've added red stickles to the bow on top of her head and glossy accents on her nose and to the Ladybug she is trying to look at :-)
As ever this card looks so much better IRL than my dodgy photography skills allow!!
Supplies -
Cross Eyed Buttercup, It's Only Words 1 both Ladybug Crafts Ink
MME Lost and Found Papers; Cream Bazzill; Buttons and Twine, Red Stickles; MS Lattice Arch Border Punch; Labels 4 Nesties; Copics; Glossy Accents
Soooo... onto the second part of this post...
