Blue Christmas

Afternoon, thought I would share this card with you today - I'm off work as my little one was not well enough to go to nursery today - nothing serious though and I'm hoping he'll be OK enough to go tomorrow.

I made this card during the brief moment of peace when he crashed out on the sofa :-)


I used the sketch from this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, and took the opportunity to colour up one of my LOTV images - she looks too cute in blue :-) 

I hope you are sitting down, but I actually used my Cricut to cut the snowflakes and the scalloped square - I really must get a new cutting mat and actually use it more (I am ashamed to say it was a touch dusty!!) but managed to use enough Herma to hold the CS still to do these!!

I'd also like to enter these challenges

    Sue its just gorgeous, beautiful colours. I need to get my cricut going again too, definitely is dusty. Apparently if you wash down your cutting board with a baby wipe, allow to dry, it gives it a new lease of sticky life!! Hope your wee man is better for tomorrow.

    So cute Sue,I never realised you had a Cricut,I'm so pleased I inspired you to get out your duster and fire it up again! Could you let me know which cartridge you used to get that scrummie Scalloped Square, I only have the one cartridge at the mo but am keeping an eye out for my wish list to go to Santa! :) Hope your little man is feeling better,how dreadful for you to have to stay home and craft on a Monday lol!Have a great week,Julie.x
