Totally Ladybug Tuesday - Challenge 18 - Spring Colours

Good morning, and welcome to this weeks Totally Ladybug Challenge where it is my turn to pick the challenge (eek!!)

And I have chosen

Spring Colours

now I'm really hoping all my lovely blog followers will join in with this weeks challenge and make it a bumper week... yes, I mean those of you that tell me that you have read a post!, why not join in with some challenges this week?!?!  You don't have to use an LCI image to win or be in the top three, although the DT love seeing

Without further ado, here is my card - I went with yellows and fresh greens, and made it into an Easter card, but you can interpret the theme however you like as long as we can see Spring colours in there :-)

I started making this card on Fiday Night at the Scrapbook Sisters crop and so I need to say thank you to Gayle for lending me her circle dies (I so need to get myself some circles!!) and Jackie for coming to my aid then my lime green pen started giving up the ghost with the image half coloured!!  I couldn't resist continuing to tinker though once home and added a few more bits and pieces, LOL!!

I decided to go all out with the bling for this card - my last few challenge cards have been fairly easy on the sparkle but I hope this one makes up for it!!  I love Tulip Ruby, but then I probably am biased because I love Tulips, they and daffodils always meant to me that the warmer weather is on it's way!!

I've put stickles on Ruby's wings, on the butterflies on the scrolls and in the centre of the flowers and added Glossy Accents to her watering can and to the ladybug on the plant pot

Supplies
CS etc - Green and Yellow Bazzill; Doodlebug Glittery paper,
Stamps - Tulip Ruby - Ladybug Crafts Ink; Paula Pascal Sentiment set
Other - Lime Green Ribbon; Green AB gems; Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers; Pin and Butterfly Charm from Scrapbook Sisters
Inks etc - Copics; Stickles; Glossy Accents; Tuxedo Black Momento; Cantaloupe Momento; Lime Green Chalk Eye; Antique Linen Distress Ink
Dies and Punches - Circle and Lacy Circle Nestabilities, X cut "Mavis" border Die; Sizzix Scroll; Woodware Circle Punch; Butterfly punch from Tesco
Looking forward to seeing your creations, thanks for stopping by!
