Less is More???

Hello!!

Another week begins and I hope to be posting a bit more than I have over the last couple of weeks... life appears to have got really busy of late, why is that, it's summer, the weather is ok-ish, I want to relax!!  At least I have a couple of weeks off work to look forward to in... oooh, two weeks today... hurrah!!

My running around like a headless chicken has not been helped by the fridge bit of the fridge/freezer deciding that keeping food at 3 degrees wasn't a good idea, and that 25 was far better. Needless to say all the chilled stuff was spoiled, but thank goodness I hadn't been shopping when it went wrong and there wasn't much that had to be thrown away.  The freezer is holding on, so the frozens are OK and we have got the beer fridge out of the garage so it's not exactly a crisis, just blooming annoying. I've texted the repair man so fingers crossed he gets in touch soon and can fix it as I could do without having to get a new one :-/.
Anyway, no more moaning/rambling this morning, onto the card quick smart :-D

I'm really hoping that this qualifies for the Less Is More Challenge which is for a One Layer card with legs!!  I think it should, because it is one layer - I've just cut some sections out!!  So fingers crossed :-D

In case the picture isn't that clear, the legs are part of the front of the card, and the blue background is attached to the inside of the card, visible through the aperture.

This stunner of an image is available from Scrapbook Sisters, and I've coloured these legs-to-envy with copics and dotted some stickles on the shoes.  Well they looked like they should be blingy to me!!  and I've added some lines to the edge of the card with a fineliner (that's a first for me I think!!) stopping before and after the stamped Woodware Sentiment

I'd also like to enter

Thanks for stopping by. more tomorrow
