Scrapbook Sisters Challenge - Sympathy

Hello!

This week's Scrapbook Sisters card challenge is one card that I think none of us like to do, but sadly have to sometimes, as we are challenging you to make a sympathy card.

Hmm, not one of my favourite types to make, but I think that at sad times a card that you have taken the time to make is very much appriciated.

Sadly, a friends father has passed away last week, so I had them very much in mind after procrasinating hugely I like how this one has turned out.

Anyway, without further ado, here's my card

I used some Timeless Bo Bunny papers, and some gorgeous ribbon by PTI, and the stamp is a Studio G one (I think!!)

  1. This is my least favourite card to make Sue and thankfully they're few and far between...touch wood! You do have the most beautiful papers and these are perfect for for the occasion. The pp, punches and ribbon all make this a stunning card xx

  2. What a gorgeous sympathy card! Just beautiful! Thank you so much for joining us at MIM! Remember, to be in the running to win the prize from our sponsor this week just leave a comment for another entry. Be sure to mention you saw them on Make It Monday. The more entries you comment on the more chances you have of winning!
    Good luck,
    Rene :D

  4. This is a beautifully tasteful card. I have always stayed away from making Sympathy cards and always choose to buy them but this has made me feel that I should try to make my own.

I have mentioned you in my blog today and have shared an award with you. Hope you will take a look and accept the award.

  6. A gorgeous card, with such pretty, soft colors. I really like how you used the border punch to bring that added frilly look, even though it is suitable for sending to a man. Thank you for sharing such a pretty card!

Many thanks for taking the time to look at my creations - please leave me a comment as to what you think! I read every one, and it means a lot to hear what others think (good or bad!!) Thank you, Sue xx
