Hello!! Two posts from me in one day - whatever next!!
Today at Ladybug Crafts Ink there is a new release, the third in the ever popular Floral Delights range - check them out in the store here. As ever these really versatile images are great for a whole range of uses - all of them are my go to images for Birthdays, Get Well, Sympathy, Thank You, or just to say Hi! I think it's brilliant to have an image that you can use again and again for different people, for different uses... not that it has stopped me getting the whole lot :-)
Anyway, enough of my waffle... here's my card...
I went one layer CAS - I'm really getting into the CAS thing now (don't panic, I'm still chucking the kitchen sink at my cards most of the time!), as it's great for when you need a card quickly, don't have loads of time, or even when the recipient isn't a more is more kinda gal :-)
Anyway, there are loadsa chances to win over at the challenge blog, so why not drop on by and check out what the rest of the team have been up to?
Love, Sue xx
Hi Sue - saw the sneak peak on LCI and came over for a closer look! Great card - love the bright colours you've used and also the clever layout building up from short to tall. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteCan you teach me to shade around the image like that? Love the colors you've used for the shading; pretty sparkle on those flowers!!
Sue, this is a great image. I love the gradient vases. Love all the yellow. You did a great job with this CAS card.

It took a lot of getting used to this card Sue when you sent it to me. I thought all the bits had dropped off in the envelope but nothing came out when I shook it lol. I'm glad you're not giving up the kitchen sink cards but I do love this CAS card...the yellow is so cheery. xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous bright and beautiful card, great idea to do a one layer card and it really shows off the great image.
