Easter Card

Over the next couple of days I'll be sharing some cards I have made using the new Flower Cross Digi Stamp available as a digi download from Scrapbook Sisters.  Gayle has really come up with a beautiful image, and although I don't normally go for religious images, this one is stunning and great value too

I promised myself I wouldn't waffle, so here's my card

I kept this one simple, but used bright sunny yellow copics to really bring the image to life and then used a silver pen round the edge of the cross, and then cut the image out and layered it on a piece of yellow card cut with Label 4 nestabilities.  I then embossed one of the larger dies onto white cardstock.  I took this card to work, and have been asked to make another one from my friend to give to her neighbour who is a widow of a Vicar, and I can see why :-)

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges

On the downside, the school allocations for my youngest son were announced last night, and to my horror they have put Sam in a different school to James.  How anyone seriously thinks I can get two kids to two different schools and pick them up again all at the same time I have no idea.  I don't really want to move James as he is close to doing his 11 plus, has all his friends at his school and, well, it just is crazy!!  I've been going through ways round it all night in my head and am drawing a complete blank... so far the only way I can do it is to obtain some sort of teleport device, or a clone... :-D  I think today is going to be spent making some fairly terse phone calls!!

Right that's it from me today - more tomorrow!!
Thanks for stopping by
