Good morning!! This week the challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink it was the turn of the lovely Gaelle to set the challenge and she has chosen
Monochrome
Any colour you like is fine by us!
Anyway because my SIL had a baby girl last week - 7lb 2oz, called Miriam Sydney, to be known as Millie and both mum and daughter are doing well :-) I've made a pink baby card :-) Honestly I'm so excited for them!! (and not just because I now have a legitimate excuse to buy pink pretty things... boys clothes are soooooooo boring!!)
Anyway, this is probably the first in what is likely to be a long line of pink baby cards :-)
I cut the lacey frame on the Cricut and backed it with cream, then used some Nitwit papers and the some gorgeous velvet and lace ribbon from LCI I'd like to enter my card for these challenges
The button has been tied with some Jute, also from LCI and the teddy bear charm is also from my stash. I couldn't figure out what else this card needed, so left it as it was - as much as I love flinging loads of stuff on a card sometimes it's good to go for something a bit simpler!!
The sentiment and image are from the Baby Baby stamp set - these are four totally sweet images and sentiments - and are a must have!!
I've prettied up the inside of this card too :-)
I used a footprint stamp from my stash (no idea who it is by!!) but for some reason it looks like a completely different colour in the photo!! Why is that!! The Congratulations stamp is also by LCI from the Baby Baby set

Girls cards are MUCH easier for glitter, ribbon etc. The lace and velvet ribbon looks flabulous with the button and charm. I've just coloured that image up..for a boy hmph! xx
