Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge - Girly... New Release and a Blog Hop!

Hello!!

Happy Tuesday everyone... exiting news from Ladybug Crafts Ink HQ... there's a new release... whoo hoo!!

We are having a blog hop to celebrate and if you are hopping already you should have arrived from my fabulous crafting friend Julie - if you've just happened on by, why not join in from the start here

By now I hope you have collected 5 letters, and have left comments as you went, and are well on your way to being able to be entered to win the first prize which is all 6 images from the new release or 5 runner up prizes of one image

Housekeeping out of the way, time to share my card with you!

I just had to use these Theresa Collins papers for this card, as I thought they went brilliantly with the sassiness of this image, Strappy - from the Killer Heels Collection - there are 6 images, all of which are fabulous... darling.... I coloured my image with copics and then got busy with the Glamour Dust

More sparkle comes from the Diamonte ribbon slider - not many more of these left in my stash now - sob!!

That's it from me - your next stop is Diane

Exciting News - crafty and home!

Hello!!

It's been a busy weekend - crafting (with a bit of crafty shopping for good measure) yesterday - I finished off a couple of cards which I'll share with you soon ;-).  And I got myself a couple of dies I've been hankering after, and refilled some of my c/s stash too!!

Good job too, as Ladybug Crafts Ink have a new release on Tuesday - hurrah!!  And we are having a blog hop to celebrate.  The new images are top secret at the moment, but all will be revealed Tuesday morning!!

On the way back from my little trip out my windscreen wipers decided to pack up on the car - good job it wasn't raining!!  This is the latest in a long line of niggles, and it's got to the stage where we would have to start spending serious money keeping it going, with the fear that something terminal was just around the corner.  I can't really complain, it's got a fair few miles under it's belt (as have I!) and it's done us well over the last couple of years, but HB was already working on a plan to replace it... bless him he was going to surprise me by just buying something, and doing the big bow on the top, but then he got cold feet over the colour, so fessed up and we went and had a look today... eeekk!!  I've always wanted one of these cars, and I'll be picking it up later in the week :-D  You'll have to wait and see what it is though!!

Hope you have had a good weekend

Getting Krafty over at Southern Girls

Oops!  I meant to publish this the other day, typed it and like an idiot forgot to press publish!!  So sorry!

Sooo... it's been a while huh!?  Glad to report that I'm back on it, mojo restored and raring to go :-D

And what better way to start than with a new Challenge for Southern Girls, which this fortnight is Get Krafty which is sponsored by 7 Dots Studio and Saturated Canary.

I was fortunate enough to use one of the fabulous Saturated Canary images, Princess Reading Beauty, and I teamed them with some MME papers from my stash, matting and layering them on Kraft c/s and stitching with my sewing machine.  I found some blue and Kraft flowers in my stash and a Tim Holtz ticket that seemed appropriate!  I couldn't help but add some lace and velvet ric rac and some pearls and pins as well, some things are never going to change!!

I've coloured my image with copics and added a touch of Glamour Dust to her shoes and headress - well every girl likes a bit of sprarkle!

To finish the card off I decorated the inside to match

Please may I enter these challenges
Copic Marker Europe - Anything Goes
Paper Crafting Journey - For A Girl
Diva's By Design - Fairytales
Creative Card Crew - Girly
Digital Tuesday Challenge - Favourite Colour Combo  - Kraft/Blues
Through the Craft Room Door -Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday - Lavishly Luscious Layers  (my top tip is if you don't have a mid tone marker, put a deeper shade onto an acetate block and pick it up with a lighter shade - and blend away!!)

See you soon
