Reflecting

Hello!  I hope you are having a good weekend!

We had a great day yesterday, although we were both quite tired as we got home at 1.30 and were up again at 6.30, as we were helping our friends who were racing yesterday.  All went well, and we had a good day, getting home at about 7, so not too bad!

Today we have had a PJ day, both of us have been chilling, HB has been watching films on the telly, and I have been doing a spot of crafting :-D, we have decided to pop out for dinner and are heading to La Tasca for some yummy tapas shortly :-D

Before we go out just time to share another completed page with you - getting a bit of a habit this isn't it!

This is another of the pictures that were taken at SIL's wedding, love pictures like this that show a reflection, so clever, although when I take them you can usually see me lurking in the background :-D  Fortunately, this was taken by the photographer so no such error!!

Beautiful Bouquet

A real quick post from me this morning as we are leaving in about 5 minutes to go out for the day,  I do NOT do early starts, especially as we didn't get home until 1.30 this morning

Yawns at the ready then!!  

Today I'm sharing another completed Scrapbook page... and there is more to share too, of my bouquet from my SIL's wedding as I was her serf bridesmaid, and it was too lovely a picture not to do something with.

Again it is quite simple, with the focus totally on the picture, and the papers acting as accents.  This is another one that originated from one of the class kits at Scrapbook Sisters, and I am slowly working my way through getting a few finished off!

Two pages in a week - think I need a little lie down!!

Hello!!

Just a quick post from me this evening, and I'm sharing another scrapbook page, this time of the small one at my SIL's wedding, awww, he looked so sweet in his little suit!!

Here he is holding his Dad's hand and taking a little walk while SIL and BIL were off having a few pics done and the photographers spotted this shot and zoomed in and got it... clever people, sometimes wedding photographers can be a bit stuffy!!  Their website is here if you want to take a look at more of their work.

This page is another one I did at the last Scrapbook Sisters fortnightly class, and OMG I nearly finished a second page!!    I am SO looking forward to tomorrow though as it's the crop (one more sleep!!!) and I am really looking forward to seeing so many of my crafty friends and having a great day

Right gotta go, I need to pack my stuff, wonder how many bags I'm going to end up taking!!

Hello!!

Is it the weekend yet??  No??? Bother!!

Ah well, not long to go now I suppose so just a quick post from me, and for a change I thought I'd share one of the pages I actually got finished at one of the recent fortnightly classes at Scrapbook Sisters... I don't seem to do much scrapping these days, as I'm too into my cards, but it's a good excuse to get out of the house and have a natter, and I'm trying to focus on getting at least one layout completed per class while I'm there as I'm a shocker for not finishing them off when I get home :-D.  If I get one done then I don't feel so bad about using the rest of the papers for cards :-D

This page used the Fancy Pants papers that I made yesterdays DT card with, and although they are floral-ish they aren't girly so I thought I could get away with using a picture of my son at SIL's wedding the other year. 

The letters are the foam Thickers, love these, so handy!!

I might post a card tonight if time allows, as I have a few on the go at the moment, and I need to get them finished up before I pack my craft things away to take to the Scrapbook Sisters Crop on Saturday  (whoo, hoo!!)  A WHOLE day crafting, no kids and only the odd interruption for a natter, a coffee or a slice of yummy cake... I am SO looking forward to it!!

Saturday and no rest for the wicked

Because I am so far behind where I need to be with my cards, and I'm out all day at Ally Pally and then a 40th so today I am sharing another page from one of my recent classes at Scrapbook Sisters

This series of three classes uses a stack of papers by OMG!  who are they by!!  I'll have to edit when my brain remembers!!  Anyway, we are doing something different with the papers in each of the fortnightly classes. 

This is a page I did from the first class, and I thought the colours worked well with a picture I took about 20 years ago from my hotel bedroom when I was in Italy.  Honestly the view was probably the best thing to say about the hotel, as the food was simply attrocious, most unusual for Italy!

I need to add a bit of journalling, but I need to figure out what to put first - or more specifcially try to find out how exactly to spell the name of the town on Lake Garda that we stayed in!

Right I've got to get cracking - I'm picking the girls up from the station at 8 and we are heading to Ally Pally for the day :-)

Quick, quick, quick

Good morning!  I promise this is going to be quick

No card today, but a page from a recent class at Scrapbook Sisters

The floral papers would not have been my first choice, but I really like them on this page :-), although please don't ask me who they are by as I haven't got a clue!!  I'd guess MME but I could be so wrong!!

The pictures are more from my SIL's wedding at Elvey Farm in Pluckley (which is reported to be the most haunted village in the UK, and is where the TV series The Darling Buds Of May was set.

The pictures feature me lacing my SIL into her gown, and HB peeking round the corner before he walked her down the aisle

Dad was in good spirits again when I saw him last night. although they are keeping him in ICU for the time being - so I think I will join a couple of colleagues and go to Ally Pally on Saturday before coming home and going to a 40th birthday do for one of HB's colleagues - oh bother, with everything going on this week I clean forgot to make him a card - I'll try and make one tonight, if not shock horror I'll have to buy one!!

Monday, Monday

I'm going to be honest and admit that it is the middle of the night, and I can't sleep...

I tried crafting but my mind cannot settle enough and I have given up :-( 

You see yesterday morning my Dad was taken fairly poorly - he is now in the Coronary Care Unit at the hospital, and is hooked up to all sorts. 

Frankly I am terrified, he's my Dad, and he looks so frail laying there. 

They have said that he had another heart attack (but being male he didn't tell my mum he was in pain, so waited hours before she gave up listening to his protests and called for an ambulance anyway) and that it has been caused by him losing blood from somewhere, and there not being enough in his veins for his heart to pump round.

He has been poorly for some time, and the hospital put him on one set of tablets for his own doctor to change them and take him off them completely.  I know he is in the best place for him now as the staff to patient ratio is 1:2, and they are giving him transfusions to try and get his blood count up, but I am still scared stiff, I just feel like I am waiting for the phone to ring :-(.  All I hope is that he can get through his and the hospital and his doctor sort themselves out and figure out what is best for him and figure out what is wrong and deal with it (is that too much to ask!).

In the meantime, as I have nothing better to do than watch rubbish on telly I thought I'd show you some scrapbook pages from a recent class using some Prima papers

Not quite sure what is going on!!!

But I appear to have done a scrapbook page, all by myself, no class, just me - I know I think a lie down is required!!  I haven't done a page out of class for absolutely ages!!

As you may know my eldest son was 9 last week and because the sun was shining on Saturday in my little corner of the world I took him into the garden for a bit of a photo shoot, not the tidyish, up by the house bit of the garden, that would have been too formal, but the bit that is a bit wild alongside the drive, where we found a tree for him to lean on so he was less self conscious... cos at 9, you get that way!!  The photo's came out really well so I decided to do a page using some of the left over papers from Creative Inspirations from the last round of fortnightly classes at Scrapbook Sisters, but oh my! I still find boys pages hard to do!!  I couldn't resist speaking a heart on there though and adding glossy accents to the one printed on the paper too :-)

I had a wild notion to sew round the image and after an age of pricking holes used some red embroidery thread.  All I'm going to say is that a sewing machine would have been quicker but I like the chunky look of the thicker thread for this page.  I added faux sitching to the paper and inked up the grungeboard shapes with some Barn Door Distress Ink and then glossy accented them...

and distressed a chipboard swirl (cut from a sizzix die??) with Bundled Sage Distress Ink and added a journalling ticket and dream tag which have been lightly distressed with Antique Linen, Bundled Sage and Barn Door Inks.  Some buttons ties with embroidery thread and some Thickers foam numbers completed my page.

I'd like to enter this page for the new Scrapbook Sisters Scrapbook Challenge which is Framed - hope this counts!!

And just cos I think it's a lovely photo here's the original :-)

All in all I've got a busy week, tomorrow is the next Ladybug Crafts Ink challenge and I've got a little cracker to show you!!  Tomorrow night is my scrapbooking class, and on Wednesday is the next Scrapbook Sisters Card Challenge, and then I'm running around after the kids with their clubs and activities and oh yeah I've got to fit work in there somewhere too :-)

Actually I'm hoping for another scrapbooking photo opportunity on Friday as Arsenal football club are visiting my youngest son's nursery.  Apparently it's something they do to reach out to the community, which is good of them, although we are told normally it's just some of the coaching staff, and rarely do the footballers themselves go - although I think they are hoping their visit will be one of the occasions when they do!! - not that the average 3 or 4 year old would notice anyway, mine certainly wouldn't!!  I'm hoping to be able to dive out of work as the nursery is only just across the road to take some pictures - it should help that my immediate boss is a massive Arsenal fan!!

Hmmm, got so much to share, but it's got to wait (how's that for a teaser!!)

Because I spent most of last night turning myself into a prune (I had a long hot bath, the sort where you take a pile of magazines, and turn the hot tap on and off with your foot!!) rather than doing anything crafty I thought i'd share another scrapbook page from my recent class at Scrapbook Sisters

And whoo-hoo it actually has me in it... and my hubby!!

These are more of the gorgeous papers by Creative Imaginations.

I really love the look of the lacey border punch all folded up and put round the edge of the circle but it is a bit fiddly!!

Anyway, that was short and sweet!!  (for me!!)

Get me!! I've actually finished a layout from my Scrapbook Class!!

Good Morning!!

As you may have guessed from the title this doesn't happen that often, and even more amazingly I have not only finished one, but two layouts from the class... Julie and Karen pick yourselves up off the floor!!

Seriously though the girls from Scrapbook Sisters outdid themselves with these papers and layouts, and I'm going to be completely honest and admit that on an average Tuesday evening after a day of work then rushing home with the kids, a quick handover with hubby and then out again my brain is usually fried and I tend to copy scraplift the examples while I am there and then either use the left over papers and cardstock for more layouts when I'm at home, or use them to make cards :-)

So, drum roll please... here's one of the finished pages (with journalling and a title and everything!!)

The picture is of my son wearing his suit at his aunts wedding but after he had changed out of his proper shoes (he couldn't walk properly in them!) and back into his trainers :-)

This is the original picture

OMG!  This was taken when he was about 18 months old!!  He's so small there!!

I used my own border punch, letters, twine, red (on the wings of the butterflies) and antique linen (on the ticket) distress inks, gems and Tim Holtz ticket.

With the exception of the chandelier, which was a stamp, the paper (Distraction from the Love Struck range by Creative Imaginations) in the middle of the LO is as it comes, how lush is that!!  I want more of this range and try and see how a card looks :-)  It's matted onto a neutral/kraft coloured piece of bazzill, which has been stamped on the top and bottom edge with a flourish stamp.  A circle has been gutted out of the middle of the cardstock and this has been stamped all over with the flourish stamp and matted behind a black circle onto which the photo has been matted.  Holes punched in the top to line up with the sizzix die, then stuck down and tied with some twine.

I used some letters from my stash and matted them onto some red CS from the kit and grouped them with the rest of the elements

 I love this layout (and not just because I like the photo!!)

To quote Monty Python... And now for for something completely different!

Just for a change I thought I'd share a Scrapbook page I completed yesterday... I know!!! A scrapbook page!!  Completed!! I can only hope Julie and Karen (and my friends and classmates) from Scrapbook Sisters where I attend a fortnightly scrapbooking classes are sitting down - either that or there was just a rather loud thud as they hit the floor, cos I haven't actually completed a page in absolutely ages!!

OK so the story behind this page - as soon as I saw the Mask images by the lovely Gayle (which I have used on cards here and here) I wanted to use one of them to go with this picture, which I took during the Venice Festival when I went on a school trip to the area... OMG!!!... 21 years ago.  Venice has been one of those places that stayed in my heart, although I am glad I went in February as I understand it can get a bit pungent in the summer months :-).  I have completed a couple of layouts using my pictures from this trip previously but I just couldn't figure how to use this picture as the colours are quite unusual, and because it is a print from the original 35mm I have had to go with the dimensions as was, rather than crop and enlarge like I would now using my digital camera.  That said, considering I was only 16 at the time I managed to get quite a few decent pictures using my manual camera (the thought of no auto focus sends me cold now, but aged 16 I just got on with it!), and I had no flash so the colours are whatever the light allowed :-)

Right enough waffle... I'm assuming Julie, Karen and my friends have regained their composure and I can safely show you a picture of the finished  page :-)

Apologies for my rubbish photos (maybe I should learn from my 16-year old self and take the camera out of automatic and see if I can get the thing to take a better picture that way!)

Flashbacks

Odd that I stumbled across this new challenge site that my DT friend Lisa has posted about, as tonight one of my friends that I went to uni has posted some photo's from when we were all young on Facebook.  I've had a look at the 100 or so pics and I'm quite pleased that in some of them someone else has been tagged when it definately is me... I could correct him but despite (or should that be because of...) half of my degree is in History, I am happy for the pictorial evidence of certain past events to be attributed to someone else :-).  Personally I think he is a brave man posting them at all although I fear an tit-for-tat onslaught of pictures appearing on the web for the world to stumble over before too long, and even back then I was normally the one holding the camera, so have the most incriminating pictures of all :-) 

This challenge however isn't asking you to post pics on your blog of your youth (thank goodness!), but of past projects, what a fab idea!! 

So the Flashback Friday Challenge this week is asking us to share

first glitter card or project.

If you really want to delve into the past, have a look at the original post here.  When I first started blogging I used to share more scrapbook layouts than I do now... hmmm... maybe I should share more now.... ahhh, I see the flaw in that plan, I've got to finish a few first!!  My photography is a bit ropey, but I think this is the first glittery one I can find, what with the Bazzill Bling CS the picture is matted onto, the gems and the Doodlebug Glittery CS (still love that stuff!!)

I love this page (despite it being of me) and I first published it in May last year, just after I started blogging (although I had been scrapping for a two years before then).  To cut a VERY long story short about 6 months before I started blogging things went a bit pear shaped with my crafting and I convinced myself (well, unkind comments from others convinced me) that I was stupid and daft to think I could be creative.  Despite this I carried on crafting at Scrapbook Sisters who week by week undid the damage with their kindness and friendship, but was on the still considering selling all my craft stuff but around April last year events came together and I got a craft mag, saw some LCI stamps that appealed to me, then Scrapbook Sisters started selling copics,  and I started stamping, colouring and making cards and haven't looked back since :-)  Once again, crafting makes me happy!!

What also struck me with this layout is how much I still love monochromatic colour schemes - they just seem to pack a punch like nothing else!!  At this point I'd seen loads of white-on-white, but never seen black-on-black and just wanted to see what it looked like!

Little did I think that in less than a year I would be on two fabulous design teams - joining my old friends at Scrapbook Sisters Card Challenge, and with new friends at Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge, and that little old me who can't draw for toffee could actually make something halfway to decent :-).

When I was looking at this post I also realised that one of my first followers, Dee, made a lovely comment, and she has just started blogging again after a short absence.

Right, after a load of sentimental waffle I've rather enjoyed a blast into the past, why not show some of your early creations too??

New stuff tomorrow (promise!!)

Friday night scrappin'

Evening!  Thank goodness it's the weekend, and for England it's a bank holiday, so whoo hoo!  a whole three days off :-)

Thursday quick post

Evening, bit of a late one for me, but just for a change I thought I'd share one of the layouts I recently completed at my regular fortnightly class at  Scrapbook Sisters.

In this class we used some of my favourite Bo Bunny papers.  I think I got away with using a photo of my son on this page even though it's quite a feminine layout, I hope he doesn't hold it against me when he's older LOL! 

The photo was taken of him at Brands Hatch racing circuit and he is watching the cars go down the main straight, honestly his little head goes right to left so quickly as the cars go past I worry it's going to fall off!  In contrast to my eldest, who comes with us sometimes and is seldom interested in the racing preferring to read his book, Sam loves the noise, the smell and of course the cars!  Oh and our friends whose box we go to always have lollipops on hand (which is obviously a deciding factor, when you are 2 or 3!)

We made the fence out of strips of white card and I think it looks really effective

Right, that's it from me today, sorry it's a short one!  More tomorrow

Fossil Hunting

Morning!

A bit of a departure from all the cards I've been doing of late but in reality this is why I started papercrafting in the first place :-) I've got a few cards lined up to share, and one in particular is in construction (2.30am "vision"  Sunday night, just got to get it to work on paper... well card, but you know what I mean :-)  I can see a long night tonight trying to get what appeared in my head to work in practice, but it's 25% there... if it works it's gonna be 'mazin!  If not, then shhh, I never mentioned it    LOL :-) 

Sorry, I'm going all blah blah blah again... right...This is a scrapbook page that I did at one of the fortnightly scrapbook classes at Scrapbook Sisters... now I'm going to confess that at times, we are laughing far too much to get any serious work done - proof is found on my pile of UFLO's - but there is always fantastic inspiration :-) 

It could be said that normally there is some laughing at with my lovely friend Stacey and her little glue mishaps :-)  All I'm going to say is that I have learnt that...

1. it's a good job PVA comes out with water and
2. that UHU should be used sparingly....  in a very well ventilated room :-)

Anyway, so the page...

This page features a photo of my eldest son, taken at Lyme Regis in Dorset.  If you don't know the area, it is is known as the Jurassic Coast because as the cliffs erode they expose pre-historic fossilised remains. 

If you ever get the chance to visit  - I strongly recommend you do if you can  - set yourself off fossil hunting (check the tide times though!)  The day before this photo was found a local "expert" told my then 6 year old that it was difficult to find anything at that time, that we would be wasting our time and tried to get us to sign up for a guided tour... undeterred we set off on our own at dawn (yuck!) and it only took him about half an hour of walking to find this massive fossil - about 2 feet in diameter - and hundreds of little ones all around.  It's unreal that you are seeing something that has been buried for millions of years :-) 

The blue background paper had a very light box design all over it and I have stamped the sea shells etc all over.  I have used some of the hessian paper to write some journalling with some white rub ons which haven't come out very well in the photo unfortunately :-(

If you ever make it to the area I can strongly recommend the little fishmongers the foot of the Cobb (the name for the habour) who sell fresh fish more or less straight off the boats.  If available I try to buy fresh scallops caught that morning and lightly pan fry then and serve on a bed of leek and bacon (which I got from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's shop in nearby Axminster), cooked gently with cream, lemon and garlic, and a good twist of black pepper... yum!!!  We are going back in October and I can taste it already!  Mmmmmmm....

Back to the LO... I'm really sorry, but I have no idea who these lovely seashell stamps or the papers are by - if you have any ideas, please feel free to enlighten me!

I like chocolate!

Even when it's on a card!  Like the stuff you can eat better though!

I have made this card for the Chocolate and Cream challenge over at The Crafty Pad.

I wanted to have a change of pace as my recent cards have been quite busy and bright, so this challenge seemed to fit the bill perfectly :-)

I've used the lovely flower stamp that came free with the August edition of craft stamper, stamped three times, domed and layered up.  That has been stuck to a square of brown dotty Bo Bunny paper (oops I seem to recall promising not to use Bo Bunny for a bit... but it's only a teeny piece!), which has been matted onto cream and chocolate bazzill.

The sentiment has been made up from two stamps (Papermania and Sandylion) and cut out and I have stamped a variey of florish stamps by Autumn Leaves on the large cream Bazzill, which has also been matted onto chocolate.  All of the cream cardstock and the oopsy Bo Bunny have been edged with chocolate chalk eye.  A bit of cream satin ribbon round the middle and I was done!

I think it is a really classic card, and a bit of a shock to my system to do something so, well, subtle, classy and elegant, but I think it works!!

As this layout used the same flower stamp as today's card I thought I'd share it as well :-)

It's quite a simple page, but perfect for this photo of my monsters, trust me, they aren't always this angelic looking!

I love stamps that are usable for both cards and scrapbook pages - I've also seen this one used for altered art - a great freebie from Craft Stamper :-)

The papers are by GCD, and are lovely shades of brown and blue - I have seen them in 8x8 size as well as the 12x12, and they also do them in black and white/cream... so tempting!

As with most of my scrapbook LO's these are from my regular class at Scrapbook Sisters

Italian Villas

I made this page at last weekends Scrapbook Sisters Birthday bash, and it was a fab kit, with loads in it, and I'll be showing you what I managed to finish over the next few weeks - nothing like adding a bit of pressure to yourself eh??

This one is another of the photo's I took whilst on a School trip to Italy 20 years ago, and I think the papers compliment the tones of the buildings and trees in the photo really well.  I love how the reflections of the trees can be seen in the water - how cool would it be to have a little boat mored outside your front door?

.  I just wish I could remember if this picture was taken in Venice or Verona - and that I'd kept a diary of my trip (yeah, right if I'd have suggested that to my 17 year old self I can only imagine what the reaction would have been!)

I've coloured the white flower with my copics, and edged it with Stickles and domed a punched circle to make the middle of the flower, then added gems to mark the path of the butterfly that has been cut from another of the papers.  The alphabet stickers are loopy loo by Doodlebug.

I'm really pleased to be doing something with my old photos, hopefully I'll have a flash of inspiration and remember where this was taken!

Yum Yum!

Cakes seem to be a bit of a reoccuring theme in our house! Hmmm...

This layout uses a pic from SIL's wedding last year - this time of the cakes that were baked by her (and HB) cousin.

They were all different shades of pink - and each had a fondant heart and glitter and were totally delish!  I'm hungry now!!

Alphabets

Hi, hope you've had a good week

I'm really glad it's the weekend now though!  I dropped my eldest to his cub scout camp tonight I just hope he'll be OK :-)  They are sleeping under canvas so I hope it doesn't get too cold.  And when I say under canvas, I mean under canvas - those green safari style tents - the sort that that I remember from when I was in the Girl Guides (girls weren't allowed in the scouts then) 30 years ago .  Honestly I'm impressed that they haven't been eaten by moths by now, LOL!  It's starting to spit here so I'm praying they are actually still waterproof too :-)

Anyway, cos I miss him here's a LO of him

I love this photo - it show's his quirky side :-)

This was done earlier in the year in one of the Scrapbook Sisters fortnightly classes.  The background is stamped all over with laods of letters from one of the Woodware sets that were randomly(ish) stuck onto an acrylic block.  I love this idea as it sets the theme of the page perfectly, and uses the alphabet stamps that we all have in a totally different way

I also love the use of the embroidery thread as it sets off the pic nicely, but is really subtle :-)

We used another couple of alphabet stamps for the title, but I have no idea what ones they are, but i'd love to know if anyone has any clues!

Trying to think of adjectives for my son was pretty easy for most of the letters, but some of the less used letters were a bit of a struggle, but it was fun to do and I think it's one of those pages that capture my thoughts of him at the time - I wonder what words I'd pick if I did this page again in a couple of years?

As for the rest of the weekend, I'm hoping to do some crafting, maybe potter in the garden - hope you have a great one whatever you get up to

... you know when you have one of those days???  Well today was one of those days

it started with my youngest getting a bump from my eldest (it was an accident) falling over and putting his tooth through his lip - cuddles later later they both got dressed and we got to school/nursery/work on time... not too bad

...then I had a bit of a tough day, nothing in particular, everything in general and to be honest it all got a bit too much and I just wanted to go and hide and have a good cry... but I DO NOT cry at work (unless it's really bad, or I'm hormonal, or both, LOL).  I dunno everyone was irritating me and maybe I felt bad cos I had to hurry my hurt little one along instead of looking after him like I should have :-(

...then we've kind of figured that really lovely card, my absolutely favoritist EVER card, that I did for my dutch colleague has gone missing somewhere between my offices and hers.  I'm kicking myself... I should have insisted it was DHL'd, or international signed for, but I didn't and we just sent it regular, and now it's gone missing and I am totally and absolutely gutted that she won't get her card and the messages of love and good wishes from her colleagues in the UK before her wedding...

...so got home and chilled for a bit, then went and picked up my eldest from cubs and Arkela wanted a word, and in front of my son told me off cos I hadn't sewn on his badges that he got at his induction last week.  I'm a grown woman and she honestly had the nerve to tell me off without any knowledge of my personal circumstances for not having sewn badges on, AND told me that they had to be sewn on before he could go to camp tomorrow night.  If he didn't like cubs so much she might have been met with a much sterner answer than the shamefully meek one she got, but maybe not as I was a bit stunned at being ticked off like that... grrr... why is it that when you walk away you always think of all the things you SHOULD have said, but didn't!!!

This is one from my wedding album of my Nan (mum's mum) and my Great Aunt Win (Dad's Side).  It's a really simple LO as I love the preprinted text at the bottom which is the title of this post

"Memories Start in the Heart and Live in it Forever"  How true is that :-)

Some chipboard letters and a Maya Road Chipboard Swirl alongside some lilac organza ribbon and rosebuds finish this page off - there is jornalling hidden under the picture, but it's slipped right in and I need to grab it out with some long tweezers!

I love the pic of my Nan and Win as it's one of the few we had of them together.  Nan passed away the day before I found out I was pregnant with my eldest son and it has always saddened me I was never able to tell her she was to be a great Nan too, but I remember her being really happy for me on my Wedding Day.

Anyway, I've rambled on for far too long, sorry!
