Eye's Bigger than your belly???

LOL, that's what my Nan used to say to me when I couldn't finish something I'd asked for, and I think this little lady is having the same thought!!

I made this card using some of the My Minds Eye Lime Twist "Happy Go Lucky" papers that I got from Scrapbook Sisters, some pink CS and some ribbon and lace from Ladybug Crafts Ink, I used the sheer ruffle ribbon as I thought it went well with that humongous (sp???) candy floss!!

I used the sketch from the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge, although cut my image into a rectangle as I don't have an oval die, so hope that is OK :-?

I coloured the Cotton Candy image and then covered the candy floss in glue and covered it with pink flock, and rubbed off anything particularly loose when it was dry - it looks good enough to eat, LOL!

The sentiment is from the It's Only Words 1 set by LCI.

This is quite a simple card for me, but I think it works well!!

Apart from the challenge over at Mo's I'd also like to enter these challenges

Busy day for me today as we are going to the appeal to try to get both kids into the same primary (elementary) school as they have put my youngest in a different school to the one my eldest goes to - how anyone expects me to get two kids to two different schools at the same time and back again at the end of the day is beyond me!  We have got to go before a panel of three people and state our case and the school has got to state why they refused him.  We should know the result in a few days, so keep everything crossed that I keep my nerve and get across everything I need to, and above all else I must not lose my temper or infer that anyone is a blithering idiot :-D
Thanks for stopping by, more tomorrow

Sue xx

Gorgeous card, good luck with the schools, too much of this going on lately. They should stop knocking schools down and start building more!! there is an obvious need that our children need an education! xxx

Gorgeous card Sue. That Mo image is adorable and I love how you've made the cotton candy (that's what we call it here in the states). It looks real and yummy :)

Love that image and the pink flock was a great idea! Hope all goes well with the appeal, good thing you don't have control of the whip! You always make me laugh with your comments, blithering idiot, that will have to be my new saying.
